Our family was recently exposed to dangerous levels of toxic molds in our rental unit. We have suffered from many health problems and most recently now have class III allergies to the molds we were living with. Dr. Wendt saw us alShow morel in one extended appointment. She was attentive, patient, and spent an extensive amount of time learning of our situation and health problems. Even with two young children becoming impatient during the appointment, she was extremely understanding. She has an extensive amount of knowledge and I trust her advice and path in regards to our allergies and asthma. She was considerate of our opinions and concerns, but we trust her guidance because of her expansive wealth of knowledge. The experience was top-notch and we will definitely be recommending her to friends and family!
Today’s visit was more rushed than my first one and I didn’t feel Dr. Wendt had reviewed my chart before she came in the room. I had to remind her about a few things. Still, she is very nice and a great doctor. I feel like I wiShow morell finally get my asthma and allergies under control. The girl at the front desk needs to be schooled in diplomacy. She spoke to another patient in a way that was not acceptable. I will bring it up with dr. Wendt at my next appointment. I work in healthcare and I was appalled.
Julie Wendt, MD, FACAAI, FAAAAI, FACP, DABOM, is a tripled-board-certified allergist and immunologist at Relieve Allergy, Asthma & Hives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She and her team service the entire state of Arizona and stay current with the latest advances in immunology treatments. Dr. Wendt takes an integrative approach to caring for patients of all ages in person and virtually via her telemedicine practice. She helps them breathe easier and eliminates the risk of severe allergic reactions.
Dr. Wendt is a native of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology honors and biochemistry at the University of Illinois. She received a PhD in immunology and microbiology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Wendt received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed residency training at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Wendt has worked in private practice since 2005 and has published extensive research studies. She also received the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award, which is a Patient’s Choice Award, and is classified as one of America’s Top Physicians. Dr. Wendt is a former president of the Arizona Allergy and Asthma Society.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her spouse and seven children. Dr. Wednt loves boating, water skiing, scuba diving, traveling, and fencing. She’s also experienced in grape growing and winemaking. She serves with multiple charities, particularly Global Orphan Project and Family Promise.

Everything has been great other than the organization of understanding the follow up steps. For example I do understand what I am to do when I finish my 30 days of Albuterol. And I don't think getting a Pneumonia vaccine was ever followed up on. But seeing Dr. Wendt is a great experience as noted!

Dr. Wendt is the most caring physician and a pitbull when looking for a diagnosis!! Thanks to her persistence I finally have a diagnosis that we can now move forward and expect a better quality of life. Even if results aren’t what you were expecting, “it’s okay, let’s see how to attack it and who is best to join your health team.” Having worked over 20+ years as a nurse she is one the best physician I have ever met.
