I only write reviews when the service is so outstanding that it needs to be recognized. I made an appointment with Dr. Wong Midsouth Foot And Ankle. When I arrived at the clinic, I was greeted by an extremely efficient and very poShow morelite receptionist. Many times in doctors offices, the people behind the glass that check in the patient are not very friendly. At Midsouth Foot And Ankle this is definitely not the case. She did an excellent job, was very pleasant And for my first time in the office I felt like I was not just a number When the nurse called me to come back, she was the same way. She was kind compassionate, and didn’t make me feel rushed when she asked additional questions. Dr. Wong arrived and I was extremely impressed with how he explained everything to me, in a language I could understand. He explained his recommendations, and he gave me options and explained the risk With each one. I’ve never spent that much time with a doctor in recent years, many times I feel rushed, I don’t always feel like they care about my well-being, and are just ready to get me out of the office. That was not the case at Midsouth Foot And Ankle I would recommend this clinic to anyone and I’ve already shared it with several my friends because I was so impressed with it.
Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable about diabetics foot care. Great bedside manner. However the the hidden gem of the practice is the young black girl who you first meet who takes you to the room, gets your information, X-rays. She isShow more the first person you see one on one and she is a Ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. She’s so professional and knowledgeable about her job. She calmed me right down. I wasn’t feeling well and was slightly nervous about the condition of my feet. She ensured me of Dr Wang’s expertise and that I was in the right place. I’ve had two bad experiences with podiatrists before. I just don’t think you actually know what you have in your practice. Her social skills alone could keep people coming back, and referring others. She makes your office shines. I don’t know her name but she is a black young lady, tall, long hair, big smile infectious smile & a personality, and takes your X-rays as well. She makes us feel welcomed there. Suggestion Re-evaluate your Gems salary. You don’t see what we see. She’s a KEEPER.
Kaihua Wang, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist at Mid-South Foot & Ankle Specialists in Atoka and Cordova, Tennessee. Dr. Kaihua sees patients at the Atoka and Cordova offices. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, limb salvage, and general podiatry.
Dr. Kaihua grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
He also completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, and a fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Kentucky Indiana Foot and Ankle Specialists in Louisville, Kentucky.

Doc Wang and his team were great. The two female assistants were pleasant and helpful, Dr Wang answered all my questions, and was very thorough. 5/5 recommend!
It great and quick
Great experience. I was able the get a quick appointment. Upon arrival they got me checked in and in the back rather quickly. His nurse or assistant came in and we talked. Couple minutes later he came in and examined my foot and determined the best course of treatment and took care of me. I was in and out of the office in less than an hour.

Dr Wang was a very friendly doctor who made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Dr. Wang explained the procedure he was going to do during the removal of the ingrown toenail. I highly recommend Dr Wang to take care of your situation.

I appreciated being seen in short notice. I especially liked that the doctor took the time to explain what was wrong with my foot and ankle and how the treatment would work. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional.
I actually got answers and my foot examined. I was more used to the quick peek and the quick fix. I was surprised to learn a lot about MY feet and how to care for MY feet.
