Dr. Reed is hands down one of the best surgeons I’ve had the privilege of coming in to contact with. He makes you feel like a human and takes your concerns into consideration while also making sure you are aware of all options avaShow moreilable. He talks to you and treats you like a peer not a superior which I feel is important. It makes it very easy to communicate with him especially since the topics that typically have to be discussed can be uncomfortable at times. He ensures you’re never put in a place to where you feel like that.
Hope is the best thing that’s ever happened to the Waycross location! She has so much knowledge, she is proof that it matters when a NP has experience and isn’t fresh out of school. Here at The Howard Center, women’s health is very important to us. In the late 90s, the Howard’s — Dr. Drew and Dr. Kaylar — were on a mission to create an all-new women’s health center tailored specifically to helping women. Both physicians firmly believed that they could not only take care of women’s needs, but make them feel special while they did so. With this idea in mind, The Howard Center came to be!
Today, our Howard Center offices offer comprehensive gynecology services for females from the age of adolescence to post-menopause. With eight offices throughout Georgia, including Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Albany/Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, Lawrenceville, Athens and Waycross, we make it easy for women to access high-quality diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.
Our gynecology team has extensive experience in identifying and treating a variety of gynecological conditions, including heavy periods, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We also offer a variety of birth control options, such as the Liletta® intrauterine device (IUD), to prevent unintended pregnancy.
Preventive care services like well-woman annual exams with Pap smears are available to reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, including cancer. Our experienced providers also specialize in menopause management services and hormone replacement therapy to help women through the transition to their post-menopausal years.
Women can also receive treatment for urinary incontinence, including innovative procedures like tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) surgery.
The Howard Center’s surgery center features the latest technologies in minimally invasive surgery. Our team performs in-office procedures like NovaSure® endometrial ablation and operative laparoscopy surgery to treat gynecologic issues without causing unnecessary trauma to the body.

Really great experience and wholly appreciate the time Kala, the nurse, and Jennifer took with me to listen and explain things. Kala even noticed a service available through my insurance and saved me some unnecessary suffering. Appreciate the advanced care they offer to our rural area, definitely grateful for professionals like Kala Hodges and the entire HC team.

I had great visit today. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable especially Kayla NP. She was very professional and made me feel at ease during my exam.
My visit today with Kala was awesome. And although I was talking a lot, she did not rush me even though she had other patients. She listened. I take the 1 hr 20min drive yearly because Howard Center is very caring
Kala was very gentle during the exam, took the time to explain the cysts they found and answer the questions I had. The visit did not feel rushed and I felt at ease the entire time.
Ms. Kala, NP and Ms. Page were professional, caring, and respectful. I highly recommend this facility. I’ve been coming here a few years now, and I’ve always been impressed.

I’m very grateful for the team at the Howard Center. Everyone is nice and helpful regardless if they are actually the ones assigned to me for that visit. I absolutely trust and adore Savannah. She’s calm, understanding, and listens. This will be my last pregnancy since I have signed the paper work to be “fixed”, and I am really gonna miss her.
I love the Howard Center. I drive all the way from Valdosta to come to the Tifton office. I had a rough experience at another off and the Ladies at the Howard Center have put me at ease the whole time. This is our first pregnancy and its been a great experience. This last appointment, Savannah had me cracking up.
Everyone was nice and I would definitely recommend going to The Howard Center!
Never meet the doctor. Made a blank trip to office for them to tell me they can’t do the surgery. Still haven’t heard from the other doctor to see when I will have the surgery. Not happy at all

Just seems that there isn’t enough time to get everything said but some of that is my fault because I have a problem remembering things. Thankful to have a doctor to go to.

He is the first doctor to take me serious when it came to being in pain. He listened and didnt just throw medication at the issue.
