About Karen Roland

Karen A. Roland is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Apple Urgent Care in Colton, Coachella, Moreno Valley, Hemet, San Jacinto, Perris, Riverside, Indio, and San Bernardino, California.

She is an ambitious professional with a passion to advance nursing practice and healthcare. Karen is qualified in urgent care, emergency and primary care and has vast experience in physical assessment, quality patient care, collaboration, and evidencebased practice.

Karen’s distinguished nursing career is founded on her extensive educational background. She received her degree in Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Charles Drew University, Los Angeles California. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree in nursing both from California Baptist University in Riverside California.

Her extensive experience includes working in orthopedics, oncology, neurology, and cardiac telemetry. Additionally, she has been a registered nurse (RN) for nearly 21 years.

Karen is a member of the American Association of Critical Nurses (AACN) and the California Associations of Nurse Practitioners.

When not at work, Karen enjoys being a 'foodie' and has a refined palate for a variety of cuisines. She loves attending potlucks, going on road trips with family and friends, and spending quality time with her little Pomeranian, Snowball.
