I came from a very popular and highly recommended office in Greensboro. Mostly due to overbooking and such. At the recommendation of a friend I visited with Kathy Richardson and I am so glad I did. Kathy Richardson, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist in Greensboro, North Carolina, who’s been a key part of the Greensboro OB-GYN Associates team since 2000. She specializes in high-risk obstetrics and postmenopausal care, and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Greater Greensboro Society of Medicine, and is certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Richardson is a North Carolina native who grew up in Winston-Salem before attending North Carolina State University for her undergraduate degree. After graduating in 1992, she moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to complete her medical degree through the University of North Carolina. After earning her Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Richardson moved to Washington, D.C., for her medical residency at George Washington University.
When she isn’t counseling patients and administering quality OB-GYN treatments, Dr. Richardson enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She loves caring for animals and reading books during her free time.

Dr. Richardson is always warm, genuine and and caring, however, yesterday she, and her staff, went beyond my expectations. I was late to an 8:30 am appointment due to rain and traffic. Dr. Richardson called me back and offered to see me on her lunch hour in order to proceed with my treatment procedure. She is one of a kind!

Dr. Richardson is without question one of the best doctors I have ever had. She is so caring and professional and you never feel rushed with her. Her assistant Becky is the same. You really couldn’t ask for a better team.
I expressed my concern about pain control before undergoing this procedure. I was given a local anesthetic but then had terrible pain during a biopsy that I didn’t know I was receiving. It was very unpleasant and I felt unheard.
I also wanted you all to know that Dr. Richardsons nurse, Becky, is fantastic
