The staff is very friendly and responsive, especially Brittany in the reception area and their former technician. Love all the monthly contests and cheery office atmosphere. Also, we never wait long for appointments. The only sugShow moregestion I'd have is to provide staff training on how to approach orthodontics with neuroatypical kids with ADHD, learning disabilities and emotional challenges. I have twin boys, both of whom got braces from Ensley, and sometimes I felt like my kids were being negatively judged for their sub-par adherence to protocols -- which are totally reasonable for neurotypical kids but maybe not so much for mine. I know it was frustrating for the staff but if they were to only walk in my shoes for a day.... Above said, I am truly grateful that Dr. Ensley and the staff persevered throughout our longer-than-normal treatment journeys -- it's not easy for either side.
So far, I've had a mostly positive experience at Ensley Orthodontics. The reason why i say, "mostly", is because at times when I've gone in for adjustments to be made to my braces i've been accidentally hurt (e.g. the skin/meat inShow more my mouth gets pinched). And i think that that can happen at any orthodontics but its just an unpleasant part of my braces journey. Overall, i would recommend Ensley Orthodontics because they've been very accommodating to and flexible with my/my families needs (e.g. arriving late to appointments, cost of my braces). I'm glad that an old family friend referred us to Ensley's :)
Kevin Ensley, DMD, is an orthodontist at Ensley Orthodontics, providing complete orthodontic care to people of all ages in Beaverton, Oregon.
Dr. Ensley is a native Oregonian. He began his career pursuits at The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry in Portland, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Ensley completed a general dentistry residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and an orthodontic residency at OHSU in Portland.
In 1991, Dr. Ensley opened Ensley Orthodontics. Over the last 30 years, he’s helped thousands of people achieve beautiful, healthy, and symmetrical smiles through advanced orthodontic treatments.
Each year, Dr. Ensley completes continuing education in various orthodontic topics. He offers a wide range of treatments to children, teens, and adults, including traditional braces, Invisalign® oral aligners, and Damon® Brackets.
Dr. Ensley takes a conservative and patient-centered approach to orthodontic treatment. Whenever possible, he uses the latest technological advances to speed up the tooth and jaw alignment process.
Dr. Ensley’s caring demeanor and compassionate chairside manner don’t go unnoticed. In fact, he’s earned the title of Top Dentist - Orthodontist from Portland Monthly Magazine 15 years in a row.
Outside of work, Dr. Ensley enjoys reading medical and orthodontic journals. He holds membership in several professional organizations, including the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Oregon State Society of Orthodontists, and the OHSU Alumni Association.
When he isn’t meeting with patients or honing his professional skills, Dr. Ensley enjoys spending time outside. He’s an avid fisher, boater, and skier.

We just had our third child graduate from Dr Ensley’s office. We will miss them! They are amazing. Every single one of them. Professional but also kind and caring and enthusiastic. It was always a pleasure to go. If there were ever problems they got the kids in right away to fix it. On top of all that they did a beautiful job making our kids’ teeth beautiful.
