Khrystal is a licensed master level therapist. Khrystal collaborates with school counselors and other community partners to develop goals the will better fit the needs of the children and adolescents. Prior to relocating to Middle Tennessee she worked with adults and children suffering from mental illness. A native of Barataria, LA., Khrystal graduated from L.W. Higgins High School in Marrero, LA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. Khrystal is currently continuing her education at Freed-Hardeman University studying to receive her Doctorate in Behavioral Health. She is trained in evidence-based intervention such as, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Khrystal has been trained on Mindfulness and Somatic interventions.
