I went to the doctor because my RA doctor found a high level of possible cancer in my prostrate. He found my prostrate had cancer and we looked at surgery and based on my possibility of having scare tissue from a burst appendicitiShow mores when I was 12 years old, that it could possibly impact the surgery. This Doctor would over and above to help my through this and go through radiation treatments. I lost about 70 lbs. but I survived and the cancer is in remission. He saved my life. I will never forget what he did for me. If you need to have a Doctor with great knowledge and support he is the one you want to give you the best advise and stay with you through. The process and from that point after. I now go every 6 months and he has never forgotten me. Wish a.ll Doctors where like him.
The doctor's discussion and diagnoses of my symptoms was clear and understandable. Hopefully his recommendations will address and resolve my medical issue. Also I want to mention the initial problem I encountered when I tried to lShow moreocate and get to his office for my appt. As I told Kim, the manager, the Google Chrome Maps I used to get there obviously didn't say what part of this office building to use to get into this office. So I had to spend some unnecessary time locating this. So I mentioned to Kim that she should tell her appointments person to tell the patients exactly how to get there. That would only take about a WHOLE minute to do that. In addition, that would be a good piece of customer service. Unfortunately, Kim did not agree with my perspective.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physiological sciences and neuroscience. He graduated from Yale School of Medicine and completed his medical thesis on “Role of Active Surveillance in Small Renal Masses.”
Dr. Nikkhou is passionate about public health and decreasing health disparities. While at Yale, he provided free health care to the uninsured through HAVEN Free Clinic, performed surgery abroad in Zambia, completed the Connecticut Health Foundation Health Leadership Fellows Program, and was on the board of the Yale Latino Medical Association.
Dr. Nikkhou completed his surgery internship and residency in urology at the LAC + USC Medical Center. At USC, he trained and operated with some of the most world-renowned experts in laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery, open urologic oncology, endourology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
While Dr. Nikkhou enjoys all aspects of urology, he is particularly interested in improving his patients’ quality of life and shortening their time to recovery using minimally invasive techniques and robotic surgery. At his practice, he provides treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder cancer, elevated PSA, erectile dysfunction, hematuria, kidney stones, and low testosterone.
Throughout his education and training career, Dr. Nikkhou has been a strong patient advocate. He treats patients as a whole and not as a condition, and does everything he can to help patients heal.
Dr. Nikkhou is married and has two young children. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling and the outdoors, cooking, and fitness. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi (Persian).

Experience with Dr. himself is always very good, however, I was very specific with him before I left the office that I would let him know or the office know where to call my prescription into that he prescribed for me. Where the communication got dropped. I do not know, but I got a notification from express scripts about the medication that The doctors office called in when I hadn’t really decided where I was going to get the medication yet. So maybe it would be helpful for you to see where the miscommunication occurred cause it took me about 30 minutes to get my insurance company on the line to let them know I had not authorized it yet.
