About Dr. Lakshmy Ayyar, MD

Lakshmy V. Ayyar, MD, FCCP is a pulmonologist at Texas Multi-Specialty Group with one office in Cypress and two in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ayyar is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care, and sleep medicine. Her special interests include pulmonary disease and sleep medicine.

A native of India, Dr. Ayyar’s path to her medical career began at MGM Institute of Health Sciences in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, where she earned her medical degree. She then came to the United States to complete residency training at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. She rounded out her postdoctoral clinical education with a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Ayyar enjoys helping her patients at Texas Multi-Specialty Group. When she isn’t practicing medicine, she is active in medical and professional societies, including the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.
