Lauren holds her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of West Florida and then a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama. She holds an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Florida and is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation. She began her career as a Labor & Delivery RN and has been practicing as an APRN since 2019. Lauren is also a Clinical Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program at the Florida State University College of Medicine.
Lauren is married to her husband, Brad, and has two daughters, with a third girl on the way. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, mostly at the beach.

Dr. Prafke and the entire Women's group staff were very kind, courteous and professional. From check in to check out, everyone greeted us with a smile and the care provided was extremely comforting. Dr. Prafke and her nursing assistant asked complete and insightful questions and expressed a genuine concern regarding mom's issues. We left having been heard and seen and receiving instructions and medications to address mom's issues.

I accidentally went to the wrong OBGYN, and Dr. Prafke's nurse graciously let me keep my appointment even though I was a couple of minutes late. Dr. Prafke listened to my concerns, ordered appropriate bloodwork, and was kind and professional throughout the visit. Her nurse was also extremely kind and professional. I was a new patient, and will continue to be a patient under Dr. Prafke.
