Caitlin and the other young lady at the desk were phenomenal. They were very helpful and extremely informative. Those two could literally run the place by themselves. I wish I could remember the other young lady's name. The MDShow more was nice, but I felt rushed. I had maybe 4 minutes with her before she got up to move me to the last step; getting a MM card. So, at $75/minute I felt like I should have discussed more. I felt good with her, though, she was probably just overly busy. Maybe my next visit. One other thing, they told me I could go right over to the dispensary immediately upon leaving their office since everything was all sent over and set up, so I did. When I got there, it wasn't. It took about 2 hours. The dispensary told me that happens often so I will wait till next day the next time. Most likely, I will already be set up with medical by then so it won't matter next time, but for first timers just go next day. All in all everything went smoothly. I got an appointment on the same day I requested and everyone was super nice. I'm thankful this service is available to us. I don't like unnatural chemicals in my body and especially anything big pharma which can't be trusted. I'm looking forward to seeing positive results. ☺️
As soon as I arrived, stress level about coming to this appointment dropped. I was greeted by 3 very warm and welcoming ladies, all of which were knowledgeable about the topic at hand. In addition, the physician I worked with on getting my medical card was extremely understanding and validating. I felt that everything I said was processed and taken seriously. I did not feel like anything was out of the question to say as she made me more comfortable than I've ever been at any other appointment in my life. As a matter of introduction, my name is Dr. Leonard Fichter. I am a practicing cannabis physician with Kaya Life. I have been a part time resident in Walton county, Florida since 1999 and retired after 38 years from a private general surgery practice in 2018, settling permanently in Bay County in 2018. My interest in cannabis, as an alternative medical therapy, stemmed from my care for cancer patients and anorexic/bulimic patients in West Virginia. During my years of practice, I saw marked benefits with utilizing marinol or synthetic THC in cancer and bulimic/anorexic patients, since they were the only patients with indications for these products. In 2019 I started a cannabis practice in Panama City Beach, Florida. Since then I have witnessed the life changing benefits of cannabis in a wide array of various pathologic processes.
