A positive review is the least I can do for Dr Ellis and hardly encompasses all she's done for me. Even when she's busy like most good doctors are, she never misses a detail in my chart. I will never have to worry if she's overlooShow moreked something. I get to rest my mind entrusting that I don't have to manage my own care. My pregnancy is high risk but at the end of the day I know that I've done the very best for my baby by having Dr E in our corner. Can't say enough about her.
Everything was good except the very rude receptionist who checked in me. I went there for an annual check-up, and I was concerned about it. I was not sure that would be a visit with the problem. She asked what it was. I told herShow more that I was not sure what I had was normal or abnormal. She asked me for detail for billing. Why do I need to talk about my medical concern details at the desk? I don't get it. Where are patients confidentially? She was so unpleasant
Malathi Ellis, MD, FACOG, is a highly-trained OB/GYN and co-founder of Nurture Women's Health and Stella Spa at Nurture Women’s Health, an all-female physician practice in Frisco, Texas. She genuinely cares about the health of her patients, providing them with the highest quality of service.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Ellis began her journey toward becoming an OB/GYN at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
She found her passion for women’s health at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where she received her medical degree. She went on to complete her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
In 2005, Dr. Ellis moved to Texas and began a private practice, serving the community of Dallas and its surrounding areas. After many years, she decided to join forces with female physicians to create Nurture Women’s Health.
Dr. Ellis specializes in female urinary problems, PCOS, high-risk pregnancy, hysterectomy, infertility, and natural childbirth. She’s also skilled in vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, vaginal rejuvenation, operative vaginal delivery, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
Patients in the Frisco and surrounding areas have come to know and trust Dr. Ellis with their obstetrics and gynecology needs.
In her free time, she enjoys being a wife and mother to her three children. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time being with her family, cooking, gardening, and reading science fiction and comic books.

Dr Ellis is very thorough and she has a wonderful bedside manner. She is one of the smartest physicians I know.
Dr Ellis is the best. She truly cares for her patients. When I was admitted to the hospital for L&D before my scheduled c section, she rushed to the hospital despite her busy schedule as the other doctor is busy with c-section and encouraged me for VBAC as I was fully dilated. I had a successful VBAC. Thanks to Dr Ellis for her encouragement and support.

The service is good, the staff can be little patient and polite with patients at front desk as well as nurses who do blood work and vitals. There is lot of wait time to meet doctor during every appt.
My experience with Dr.Ellis was really great. She explained my all questions and next steps gave me what I needed well in advance to ensure measure meet. She is very knowledgeable, informative. Encouraged me to reach out of I had any concerns.

Dr. Ellis made my fiancé and I feel very comfortable during our first prenatal appointment. She was very knowledgeable and gave specific instructions on what to accomplish during the pregnancy.
Dr Ellis is a God send savior to me, she helped me get my vbac. She is very patient, listens and help answer all your queries, shares and encourages to follow a balanced diet and workout regime throughout pregnancy. She is very transparent and inform all pros n cons of each decision. She has a wonderful L&D team who prepared me so well during my labor. She and her team is very prompt in answering all queries on patient portal. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ellis took the time to prepare me for the procedure (IUD insertion) and answer any questions. She also checked on me as I was exiting the exam room. The nurse assisting was also very helpful and kind.
