Doctor Vaclaw always has genuine concern for his patients and is very easy to talk to and always explains medical termanology. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Vaclaw grew up playing and loving sports. He always knew he wanted to be in the healthcare industry, and while attending college, he became more familiar with podiatry. Dr. Vaclaw realized he could integrate his love for sports and athletics into a medical career and began the path toward becoming a foot and ankle specialist. Before leaving Oklahoma for college, Dr. Vaclaw had the unique opportunity to live in Mexico City, Mexico, for two years, where he became fluent in Spanish and developed a strong connection with Mexican culture.
After Mexico, he attended Brigham Young University and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in clinical psychology. Dr. Vaclaw earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and trained at their state-of-the-art facility in Independence, Ohio. While there, he also received specialized wound care training from The Cleveland Clinic. Upon graduation, Dr. Vaclaw moved to The Woodlands, Texas, area for a three-year residency program at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas, specializing in foot and ankle surgery and medicine. He served as Chief Resident of that program. He is also one of the first podiatrists in the country to receive a Reconstructive Rearfoot Accreditation upon residency completion.
Dr. Vaclaw is committed to serving this community. He understands the importance of educating patients on their conditions and collaborating to create specific treatment plans for his patients’ needs. He is dedicated to pursuing the latest medical and surgical procedures to give his patients the care and attention they deserve. Dr. Vaclaw is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. and Mrs. Brittany Vaclaw currently reside in The Woodlands area with their children. They love to spend time as a family outdoors whenever they can. They love all the activities The Woodlands has to offer.
