About Dr. Maria Spencer, MD, FACOG

Dr. Maria C. Spencer brings her experience to the team at Women's Healthcare Physicians of Naples.

Dr. Spencer is originally from Venezuela. She moved to Chicago in 2012 to obtain her certification as M.D. in the US. Was able to rotate with world known OBGYNs. Then, she did her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, a well-recognized program in High-risk Obstetrics and Minimally invasive GYN surgery. She completed her residency with honors in 2018. After that, she started practicing OBGYN in Kentucky until December 2022.

Dr. Spencer provides a full range of care in obstetrics and gynecology with an interest in high-risk pregnancies, contraception, well women care, cosmetogynecology, abnormal uterine bleeding, and minimally invasive surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Spencer is a mother of 2 boys. She is passionate about her career and enjoys providing the best care to her patient. She loves to spend time with her family, travel, learn about different cultures and create memories. She is also fluent in Spanish.
