Dr. Walton truly takes the time to listen to you & try & understand fully so she can best diagnose & recommend treatment. She does not jump to conclusions or just look at a result on paper & go with it. She takes the extra time & Show moreenergy & uses her experience as a Psychologist to get a complete picture. If something is not adding up, she is not beyond consulting with colleagues for additional input which is above & beyond to me.
I am an emotional wreak and my provider was able to understand where all of it was coming from and address my concerns. They ordered the appropriate testing and performed them at the earliest convenience. During the walkthrough ofShow more the results the provider ensured I understood the details and helped me to see that I have not changed I just now know how to categorize my characteristics and seek help for them if desired

It took me 3 months to get an initial appt and 2 months to get test results back, but during my time with Dr. Maria Walton and the Athena staff they were attentive and very kind and helpful. They truly care about what they do I just believe they are incredibly overwhelmed with their workflow .

The doctor we had an appointment with was on for the most part on time and straight to the point, trying to get all the information she could in order to help me. She listened closely and gave us what we needed to know to prepare for scheduling an appointment for testing.

She was very accommodating, there was miscommunication about my appointment but she made time for me while I sat in my car. She listened and asked questions that were spot on that others never asked me before felt good to be listened to and heard.
