Awesome doctor, awesome staff. One gripe: I was very clear with the front desk fellow who answered the phone on my reason to make an appointment (blood work for testosterone). I asked if I should fast, he said "I don't think sShow moreo".. he was wrong. Also, He set my appointment for 1215pm...2 hours after any urologist would accept blood work for this type of test. So, I really feel like he should have known this, and scheduled me accordingly. Like ..really. he should know this. He's a medical professional. Or he should of handed the phone to someone with more experience. No shame in that, right? But coming to the office was a very nice experience and I'm not smashing this guy personally. all was not lost, and the appointment did give me something worth the trip, and I will be back in a month for a checkup.
Dr Mitijia is always so awesome to deal with. She's been there for me through a broken foot, sprained ankle, and multiple sicknesses and she always gets me fixed right up. Everyone else on the staff from the gals up front, to the Show morenurses, and doctors there have always been great to me and that's why I keep going back.

Matija attained her undergraduate degree in sociology/biology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She went on to complete her physician assistant training at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Best place in Fairbanks. Great Medical personnel. Amazing bedside manners for medical practice. The front office does an amazing job helping me. Hands-down if you’re not coming to this location, you’re simply not getting the best in town.

I was a walk in. I was seen within 30 minutes. Staff is very friendly. The doctor was thorough and made sure I had a plan for care after the visit
After waiting for 2.5 hours as a walk in, I only had my temp, bp, and pulse ox done. Then 15/20 minutes after that I left. Apparently my illness was not immediate enough to be seen in a timely manner.
Got me right in and took good care of me to get my medical card renewed for my CDL.
The front office staff and the nurse was exceptional, but, I was very impressed with Matija’s professionalism in wanting to correctly diagnose my symptoms. She did not rush through the exam. I appreciate her demeanor, knowledge and ability to put me at ease. I recommend her to anyone that needs immediate, professional care in the Fairbanks area.

Very professional and great patient care
Wonderful experience. Everything was very professional and easy. Highly recommend this location. The other 2 places we tried to go to took over an hour to get our paperwork in and we couldn’t stay to complete what we needed to. Steese got us in quick and easy!
