Dr, Grella is an extremely competent eye doctor. She is very passionate about providing you with quick, professional and kind service. I am legally blind in my left eye and started having symptoms of a retinal tear and seeing larShow morege floater. I called the office and explained my situation to them and they spoke to Dr. Grella and she worked me into her schedule. This happened 4 times and each time the staff and Dr. Grella accommodated seeing me due to the serious nature of losing site in both eyes. I find that if you explain things to the scheduling or receptionist that you have an urgent problem, that they will check with Dr. Grella and she will work you in. Finally, Dr. Grella honestly cares about her patients. We both know that if I lose sight in my right eye, I will be totally blind. Dr. Grella told me if I felt any issues with my right eye to call the office and she would work me in. I’m touched by her concern for her patients. She is one of the best doctors I have ever been to and I would highly recommend her to anyone as your eye doctor.
I've had eye exams for glasses and check ups since I've been a teen. But never have I felt that I've gotten a through and complete eye exam until my recent visit with Dr Karina Snyder at Whitson Vision Indianapolis office. PreviouShow mores doctors I've had seemed to rush the process and not care to get the prescription just right to my satisfaction with an attitude of 'we know better then what your seeing.' That wasn't the case with Dr.Snyder she was genuinely concerned to get it just right. Very professional and precises. I genuinely felt cared for and my concerns were met. I can really say Whitson Vision I would recommend to friends and family. It truly was the best experience I've had with Eye Doctors in my adult life. If your looking for fantastic experience in Eye Care this is the place to go!
Dr. Doore is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he received undergraduate degrees in both Biochemistry and Business Management. He then headed to Houston, Texas where he received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Doore gained a vast amount of experience in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and pre- and post-operative care during his rotation at Thomas E. Creek VA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. He also developed expertise performing laser procedures at Vision Center in Ruston, Louisiana, and he became proficient in the treatment of advanced dry eye cases at the Dry Eye Center at the University Eye Institute in Houston, Texas. This varied and comprehensive history has provided Dr. Doore with the competency to help with any ocular problems that may occur while providing patient care.
Dr. Doore spent several years in private practice in Iowa practicing general optometry, treating dry eye, and fitting specialty contact lenses. This experience was followed by a period of time serving remote communities in the state of Alaska before finally finding his home here at Whitson Vision. Dr. Doore is excited to help provide the best possible care for the people of Indianapolis.

Dr. Grelle was great. Patient...having to wipe the lens each time it fogged up. Informative... answering all of my questions including my consideration of Lasik surgery in the future. A true professional and I look forward to my next appt with her.

Excellent!
Professional and good quality facility and staff. A bit of a wait. I got a new prescription however no opportunity to purchase new glasses. I was instructed that I could go somewhere else to buy them. Well if somewhere else can figure out how to sell the frames, and I have to make a separate trip to do that, why shouldn't I just get my eye exam done there as well.
Dr. Grelle was great! She listened to my concerns and took the time to answer all of my questions.
