My experience with Dr. Teltzer has been great. I have been seeing him for quite sometime. I find him very knowledgeable. Caring, compassionate,and supportive. I do think the office staff needs some guidance as I reached out to Show morethem for assistance due to low blood pressure readings. Even though the call center answered they were unable to provide me with the proper assistance and thought I was calling for refills. The person who took the call did not understand nor spoke good English. I was very surprised of the response and actions taken. Ended up speaking with the office manager who eventually got me to the Dr. Teltzer who was able to answer my concerns. I told my story 3 times.

Having lived in different states, I have had a lot of different primary physicians. he is the type of physician that even if I moved again, I would fly back to see him. he takes time to address my Show moreconcerns, and he looks at me holistically as a person. Remembers information about me, that is beyond what doctors slip in their notes about their patients. He truly is an astonishing individual and is the top reason I come to Associates MD. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the staff, and I’m very grateful to have such an amazing physician!
Matthew Teltser, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, lipidology, nuclear cardiology, and preventive cardiology. Dr.Teltser serves patients at AssociatesMD in Davie, Florida.
His success with patients stems from his philosophy that patients must be active partners in their treatment. An open dialogue allows his patients to make informed decisions with a clearly defined joint plan.
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Teltser graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and earned the "Rutgers Scholar" title through a senior research project at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he also completed medical school.
After graduating, Dr. Teltser moved to Pennsylvania and became board-certified in internal medicine after training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During his fourth year at MCP, Dr. Teltser was an internal medicine instructor while completing a clinical pharmacology fellowship. He continued his journey southward and completed his training in cardiology at the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville.
In addition to his board certification in cardiology, he is a board-certified lipidologist (specialist in cholesterol disorders). He is also board-certified in nuclear cardiology, heart imaging techniques using radioisotopes (radioactive tracers). He is strongly interested in preventive cardiology and is a member of the ASPC (American Society of Preventive Cardiology).
As the medical director of A&R Research, Dr. Teltser supervises several medical research studies utilizing the latest drugs for treating cholesterol, hypertension, gout, COPD, and diabetes. He is dedicated to finding the highest level of care for his patients.

From the time I walked in, I was treated with kindness and respect. Dr Teltser’s assistant was fabulous. Such a sweetie. Dr. Teltser as always was kind and helpful. He went over my blood work and was happy with the results. I am sad to hear he’s retiring. He has been a pleasure to have as my Cardiologist!
Been seeing Dr Teltser from my guesstimation about 24 years, now, picked a Cardiologist as my primary ( yes, higher deductible), but has been one of my most best life move after a life changing experience in 1999. On this recent Bi-Annual, this Dr. who has been an important part of my well being, announced he is retiring. I know that’s life, but this Dr will surely be missed. Wishing you an extended life in Retirement Dr………thank you.
