Megan J. is a really incredible and empathetic clinician. Magnolia medical in general will take care of your needs with discretion and care, and they will not judge you or treat you like you belong to a highly stigmatized group. IShow moref you have trauma from past interactions with substance use providers, know that Megan and every other person I’ve personally interacted with at Magnolia has treated me with kindness, dignity, respect, courtesy, empathy, and I have never felt judged. Their services are highly convenient and thoughtful re: their clients’ time and financial constraints. For those in need, and as a multi-year client of this facility my review is not based on few data points, Magnolia Medical Group, and Megan J., clinician/provider for Magnolia specifically (and their other providers/clinicians too!), are highly recommendable choices.
Megan is very understanding, and never once made me feel uncomfortable. She is a beautiful person, and I would recommend her 100%.
Experienced, certified physician assistant Megan Johnson, PA, serves patients at Magnolia Medical Group, with locations in Wheat Ridge and Denver, Colorado. She graduated with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
Originally a Minnesota native, Megan followed her passion for helping patients and moved states, making her way to Colorado. There, she pursued her career in health care at a clinic offering pain and addiction medicine. This experience crystallized her desire to assist patients working through addiction. Megan’s warm and reassuring manner enables her to empathize with her patients, listening to their needs so she can meet them where they are and provide them with a strong support system as they heal.
When she is not working, Megan likes to be out in the great Colorado outdoors, playing volleyball, hiking, and skiing. She also enjoys Denver’s rich culture and entertainment, and can be found taking in live music and comedy shows.

Kristyn has been such a pleasure to work with. She’s very attentive to my needs which I very much appreciate. She very knowledgeable, answering any questions I might have. I could not ask for a better person or someone more professional.
I’ve been coming to Kristen for awhile now, and she is, by far, the best provider I have ever had. Besides always listening and being there when I need her, I’ve grown to think of her as a good friend and someone I can talk to about literally anything, with zero fear of judgement. I often joke with her and tell her she can never retire until I’ve passed away, because at this point, I cannot see going to anyone else. I have enormous trust issues, so for me to say these things about anyone else, much less a provider, is an uncommon occurrence. For that matter, I think Rachel, Peyton, and the girls who do the triage downstairs are also amazing. The clinic has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and for people in struggle with addiction, this sort of environment is essential. People are welcomed warmly and with humor. Everyone really works well together and now that that Melanie has left the practice, (good riddance, IMO) I cannot say I’m very fond of everyone there. I’d have to say Magnolia, at least the Colfax location, is one of the best kept secrets, for anyone dealing with substance abuse and, really, just needing a warm friend.

No I would not recommend Megan Johnson instead of helping me through a meltdown I was chastised I paid them to chastise me instead of helping me get to the root of the problem she was so mean that I ended up crying and then using but I've been clean for so long but between the meltdown and being chastised and being an addict I didn't know how to deal with it still learning how to deal with big feelings parents never taught me how to deal with those
Dr kulick and all the other people that there are very understanding about your problems. I highly recommend magnolia medical to everyone And dr Kulick is super understanding about your situation.

Megan and Kristyn could not be any nicer of doctors to see once a month. They assist me with my sublocade shot and make the experience as easy as possible. Also, beyond just assistance with my shot once a month, they connect with me on a human level often asking questions about my weekends and ski trips. I would recommend anyone deal with addiction issues use Magnolia Medical.
Megan is one of the most knowledgeable competent people. That I've ever had the pleasure of me knowing and he's good. She knows how to answer all my questions. She knows how to care She knows how to knows what I'm doing well, if I'm not doing well, and she knows how to be professional. And it goes a long way to have professionals like her in your employment, thank you very much.

The staff at Magnolia Medical Group have somehow managed to find the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. They make the process of addressing my addiction a pleasant undertaking even though it can get very ugly and unpleasant at times. I highly recommend them for their commitment to helping others see the way to a brighter future.
Megan is the best!
The whole staff has been great to me. Never been rude and I’ve been in a lot of situations where I’ve ran out of medication due to me not planning ahead or something bad happening with insurance etc. and they consistently come through for me. Every single time like Kobe Bryant in the clutch. Especially Peyton!
She is always so sweet and caring, I really feel comfortable asking her for anything I need regarding my meds. Keep up the great work!
