After earning a Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, they completed an OB-GYN residency at the University of Nevada, Reno, followed by a specialized fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Hawaii.

She did not introduce herself. She came in started telling me I needed to be seen more, didn't explain anything and basically spoke to the wall the whole time. Hard to understand and lacked any and all bedside manner.

La primera vez me atendieron súper bien las muchacha q me hizo el ultrasonido execelente persona me hiba diciendo las partes de mi bb y todo . Pero la última vez no fue tan buena la que me hizo el ultrasonido una muchacha súper seria ni hablaba como mal humorada me hacía el ultrasonido y encima me hicieron esperar en un cuarto superior pequeños con dos sillas solamente y cerrado . Horrible no me gustó la última vez que fui .
Excellent
Everyone was super friendly. I was called on time for my appointment. The only thing i wished was for the tech to go over the ultrasound in detailed while doing the ultrasound because half i'm the time I didn't know what I was looking at. Also, I had to tell 4 different people we didn't want to know the gender, so just wished as a group the communicated. Other than that I had a good experience! Dr. was nice and answered all my questions.
This was my first time here as my Dr sent a referral over for some minor issues during my pregnancy. I just have to rave about my ultrasound tech, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, all the anatomy she was scanning she informed me of what it was and then she gave me so many photos of baby. I wish I got her name but I was there Thursday for a 10am appt, whoever she was, she was an angel. The doctor was also so amazing, she reassured me so I wouldn’t stress, she explained everything to make sure I understood what was going on and that I wasn’t confused. Overall my first time here was a great experience.
Everyone was so nice and informative and made sure that you understood everything that was being done. Dr. Akiyama was also very nice and I didn’t have to wait long for her to come in and explain the results of my ultrasound.
