I came in for an IUD insertion and was pretty wound up after reading some horror stories online. I loved that my boyfriend was allowed to be in the room with me from start to finish. The office is beautiful and staff are so patient and helpful. I never once felt rushed, which unfortunately is a rarity these days in the medical world. Highly recommend!! Thank you to all the staff.
Ali was great, i felt very safe and heard in her care. During labor i felt like she was guiding me to the best path for a good delivery. I was very scared to get an epidural but she reassured me that it was the necessary move to cShow moreontinue with a vaginal birth. Her constant check in and calm tone made me feel safe and more secure in my labor plan. She clearly explains everything you will experience and is constantly checking in making every step as smooth as possible.
Melanie has over 11 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health. She graduated with a BSN and minor in Spanish from the University of Northern Colorado and began her nursing career as an RN on Labor and Delivery. She returned to the University of Northern Colorado to pursue a Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She has a passion for caring for and helping women across their lifespan with a special interest in young adults and women with fertility concerns. She strives to provide care that is inclusive and respectful of diversity.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, two active little boys and yellow lab. She loves running, hiking, snowboarding and skiing and is grateful for every day she can get outside and move her body. She also enjoys cooking and reading.
