Melinda Munson, MD, FACOG works out of the Laurel and Silver Spring, Maryland locations at Capital Women’s Care. Accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Munson is an expert in the gynecologic field with over 20 years of experience.
After completing her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego in 1981, Dr. Munson went to complete her medical degree at the George Washington School of Medicine in 1988. These specializations enabled her to do her obstetrics and gynecology residency, which she finished at her graduate alma mater.
The recognition she’s received from the media, as well as the medical community, only reinforces her passionate dedication to providing women of all ages the most cutting-edge and comprehensive medical care possible. She does so by developing long-lasting relationships with her patients and tackles, not just a symptom, but the root of the discomfort.
