Dr. Farino is a very talented doctor. I got a steroid injection today in my finger and it didn't hurt! I was so nervous today fearing the worst. I've previously had steroid injections in my fingers by another surgeon and they hShow moreurt so badly. I am so lucky I found Dr. Farino! He is the best! The office staff very nice and run efficiently. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Michael Clare, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and foot and ankle surgery specialist at 360 Orthopedics in Sarasota, Venice, and Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
Dr. Clare attended Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by a foot and ankle surgery/lower extremity trauma fellowship at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Clare specializes in foot and ankle surgery and lower extremity trauma/reconstruction, including ankle replacement. He served as Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery from 2002-2005. In 2005 he returned to Tampa to join the Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) where he practiced and served as Director of Fellowship Education, and later Fellowship Director for the FOI Foot and Ankle Fellowship until December 2018.
He returned to his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska in January 2019, and worked for Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, before returning to Florida to join 360 Orthopedics. He remains Course Director for the Current Solutions in Foot & Ankle Surgery Course held annually in Tampa since 2008. He has presented lectures and research at over 100 meetings and instructional courses, and has published over 70 research articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He has been included on the list of Best Doctors in America since 2011. Dr. Clare is married with three grown children, and is an avid golfer.

Excellent listener and after seeing two other surgeons with different options, I will go with Dr Clare’s plan for surgery.
I had bunion surgery 1/2023, the surgery was performed by different practice/doctor. After the surgery I wasn’t able to walk barefoot or wear sneakers. Dr. Clare performed correctional surgery on my foot 11/2023. I’m very happy and grateful with the results of Dr. Clare’s surgery. And the physical therapy department is great too.

Excellent. Dr. Farino diagnosed and treated me for trigger thumb. He is professional, competent and friendly. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan.
Dr Clare treated me for pain on the outside of my left foot. He was friendly and thoughtful as he listened to my description of my pain. He quickly analyzed the issue and offered a course of exercises and orthotics to address the concern. I was quite pleased.
I was impressed by how well Dr. Farino explained the Xray of the broken metacarpal bone in my hand. He was thorough and encouraging.

Outstanding!
Excellent, fast and efficient
I did not have to wait long for Dr to see me. He was kind, patient and talked and explained things to me in an easy way. Although my visit was relatively quick and I don't need follow up he was sincere with telling me to call with any concerns and if problems occur.

My appointment with Dr. Farino was on time. Dr. Farino explains the treatment that he recommends and his reason for that treatment. He does not rush to surgery, but will recommend less invasive treatment first. I trust that he Is doing what is best for me.
Dr. Clare is the best he talks to you like an equal and legitimately wants you to understand what's going on and what the plan is for progress. He put me back together after a workplace accident and has been awesome from the start thanks doc.
