The process of having one number to schedule with but then changing to a second number to text into in order to check in when you arrive was a bit odd. The text message didn't draw attention to the fact it is a different number. SShow moreo if you are looking closely and text the original number, then you will be waiting for no reason. As I did for a good 30 minutes before rereading the original text. At no time did an employee take the initiative to look outside to see if a patient was waiting despite the scheduled appt. time. Also, the initial results came quickly, however the final covid test results from the lab, were only provides once I followed up and asked for them. Overall would be a great set-up and system if they fixed the few defieincies.
Easy to make appt, staff really nice. But they can definitely improve to be more efficient. Highly recommend gathering insurance info prior to arriving and have everything ready to go by the patient appt time. We waited a half houShow morer for them to check insurance and gather everything to come out to us. We drove 30 mins to get there and I would have been very upset if they told us they weren't contracted w our insurance despite government paying for testing (it's free to public).. We were the only ones there for test so. Otherwise, it was good.

Morteza (Morey) Mirkarimi, MD, has been providing General Practice and Family Medicine care to the Clairemont community of San Diego for over forty years.
Dr. Mirkarimi earned his medical degree at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, in 1968. Dr. Mirkarimi then completed his residency at Pahlavi University Hospital through the University of Tehran in 1976, and then completed another residency at the V.A. Wadsworth Hospital through the University of California - Los Angeles in 1983.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mirkarimi has taken care of all the primary care needs of his community, diagnosing and treating disease, and ordering laboratory and radiological testing in the care of his patients. Dr. Mirkarimi is taking new patients and also offers telemedicine to his patients.
When he’s not working, Dr. Mirkarimi enjoys spending time with his wife, their children, and their grandchildren at their home in La Jolla, California.

The booking progress for my COVID tests was so easy online! The check-in process is just as easy!
Appointment needed, but I was able to get an early spot for the next day. Fast service and quick results. There was a little confusion on my part, but that was because the sign got knocked over and it was my first time there so I was t familiar. Definitely going here next time I need a test.
