Very impressed with Dr. Azzie’s preparedness. He was very familiar with my health situation and clearly explain to me, what was going on and the things I could do to positively affect my health. And also the things that would negaShow moretively affect my situation, things I needed to cut out of my diet. I entered the office nervous, not knowing exactly what to expect. I left calm and confident, knowing how to better manage my diet and the reasons why I should. So often doctors tell you what to do, without explaining the reasons why. The Y is big for me. I now have a better understanding of reading the metabolic panel that pertains to my kidney functions. Thanks Dr. Azzie

I moved to Tennessee from California where I had been receiving treatment at UCLA. In my experience Dr. Nayeem is as knowledgeable and professional as the staff at UCLA.
Dr. Azzi is a nephrology and hypertension specialist serving patients at Southern Kidney Specialists at their location in Hermitage, TN.
He completed his Nephrology & Hypertension training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then continued on to practice Nephrology & Hypertension in Dodge City, Kansas. He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Nephrology & Hypertension.
He relocated with his family to Tennessee in 2019 and his clinic is in Hermitage. He is available to see patients that are admitted to Summit Medical Center, Centennial Medical Center, Williamson Medical Center, St Thomas Midtown and St Thomas West Hospitals.
