My experience here has been beyond amazing. I have been going here for a year and the whole staff is incredibly kind and prompt. The staff have taken the time to get to know me beyond just a patient. The super beautiful assistant,Show more Janet, is so friendly and always asks how I’m doing and somehow keeps up with my crazy mess of a life. You can tell she is a hard worker and knows what she is doing, too ~she should get a raise ;) Dr. Nickolas has also been so supportive, informative, and is very attentive to detail. I lost my mom last year and switched out one of my earrings for one of hers. I would never expect anyone to notice that, but Dr. Nickolas (who I only see once a month) noticed it and commented on it. It actually meant a lot to me someone noticed. I think a big part of what makes this place overall just so awesome, is all the small things the staff does to make their patients feel comfortable and valued. I think it’s also important to note that the bathrooms there are immaculate (seriously if there were ever a bathroom I wouldn’t use a seat cover in, it’s this one), and they also have a bowl of the candy at the front desk- the good kind like chocolates and stuff :) thank you to the Global Derm team for taking the best care of me!
So happy I switched from a larger Derm in town! Smaller, more personable office and incredibly friendly staff! Called back quickly and the appt was ran in the most professional yet laid back manner I could ask for. Dr. Poulos is oShow morebviously very knowledgeable and took the necessary time to explain both the exam and treatment. I feel like the head to toe skin exam was way more thorough than the last office I went to, and there is actual photo documentation to get a baseline of my skin and track future changes. Again- not done at the nearby office not to be named. I felt so comfortable the whole time and I feel like not only were my concerns taken seriously, but I was given several choices in the treatment plan.

Global Dermatology is a veteran-owned and family-run medical dermatology clinic focused on providing the best quality care to patients. Led by Nickolas Poulos, DO, the team strives to provide the residents of Colorado Springs, Colorado, exceptional care in a welcoming, friendly setting.
Dr. Poulos is a native of Florida and received his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Miami. After graduation, he proudly served in the US Army for four years as a health care specialist, then went on to pursue a career in medicine and attended Nova Southeastern University. He completed a Traditional Rotating Internship and Dermatology Residency at Larkin Community Hospital.
Dr. Poulos is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
After graduating, Dr. Poulos opened Global Dermatology in beautiful Colorado Springs. As a boutique dermatology clinic, the team is able to take a personalized approach to care and get to know each of their patients. In addition to routine skin checks and providing treatment for common skin concerns like acne and eczema, Dr. Poulos is skilled in performing Mohs surgery for skin cancer. Global Dermatology also offers cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox® injections, chemical peels, and microneedling. Dr. Poulos is a great provider, each time I visit he is very welcoming and takes my concerns seriously. My treatment plans are well thought out and my follow up questions are answered in a way that I can understand.
I was nervous when I got there. Never had a biopsy before. The minute l walked in l felt at ease. The Doc and his nurse made me fiil like they really care. Everything was explained in a way l under stood. The work was done with no pain.

Scheduling is simple and quick. The office staff is extremely professional and kind. The Doctor is a genius. He can test and treat for things I didn't think a Dermatologist did. He never rushes you, and answers every question
Great staff and great first experience at a dermatologist!
I arrived a little early to complete computer form enabling me to become a patient. Got in right away and found office staff very helpful, courteous and professional. I don't know how long Dr. Poulos has been in practice. He had a great sense of humor relaxing me and seemed very knowledgeable. I am glad my primary care referred me to him and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Careful to conduct complete examination but also is attentive to patient as a person.

The staff was very friendly and super efficient. Several follow up calls, very impressed and way more than typical. Dr. Poulos was very caring, listened acutely and was determined and dedicated to find the root cause of my issue, which he did. I was unfortunately referred to another specialist (because of more internal concerns). If I could, I would declare Dr. Poulos as my PCP but unfortunately I can't due to my insurance plan. My wife was also super impressed because we have both visited other dermatologists and were quite disappointed. Please don't waste your time going to any other dermatologist. Highly recommended

This morning I have felt great for the first time in several weeks. I actually slept from 630 to 6 this morning. First time I have had over a couple of hours in oh soooo long!! I had a great meeting with Dr Pouolos (think I just murdered his name, sorry); and both my wife and I came away very encouraged! I actually feel great and am not scratching and itching like a junkyard dog!! I am looking forward to the rest of the treatments that will be set up and to getting rid of this scourge on my body!! Merci !!!
I am very grateful for Dr. Poulos and staff to be seen by them the next day for a rapidly developed skin condition. It provided a quick solution to the problem.
Every time we visit Dr. Poulos, we always learn something new about our skin and our skincare. He clearly cares about his patients, answers questions, and has a friendly, professional demeanor. He gives you the opportunity to participate in treatment decision-making and doesn't just push costly treatments on you like other local dermatologists that we had previously seen always seemed to do.
