About Ms. Nicole Stroup, PA-C

Nicole Stroup, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with the team at SunWise Family Dermatology & Surgery, LLC in Dover and Middletown, Delaware. Nicole knows that when it comes to patient care, one size doesn’t necessarily fit all and treats everyone based on their own individual needs. She hopes each patient will be their own advocate and that they maintain an open and honest line of communication with their health care providers so that they can work as a team.

Nicole graduated from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2002 with her degree in physician assistant studies. She is fortunate to have had a wide variety of experience working in pain management and orthopedic surgery at Coordinated Medical Network in Marlton, New Jersey, family practice and urgent care at the Tropicana Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and most recently with allergy-related conditions at Atlantic Allergy and Asthma Center in Linwood, New Jersey, where she gained experience in diagnosing and treating chronic urticaria and contact dermatitis patients.

Nicole has been in the health care industry since the age of 18, when she worked as a medical receptionist in the radiology department of a busy rural hospital while working on her radiologic technology degree in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. After she earned her degree, she worked as an X-Ray technologist at Jefferson University Hospital while working on her biomedical science degree at MCP Hahnemann University. She is currently working on the Dermatology Diplomate Fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She also has received her certification to use broadband light (BBL) lasers for acne and cosmetic patients.

Nicole has been happily married for 19 years and shares four boys with her husband. She has been a full-time working mom, part-time working mom, and a full-time stay-at-home mom. She has extensive experience working with kids of all ages and has volunteered in her spare time to work with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America.
