She has practiced as a registered nurse for over fifteen years on the general medicine unit of Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Houston Methodist West Hospital taking care of patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension.

She was able to work me in the same day as I needed a release from my primary care physician for my upcoming back surgery. She worked me in and She set the release to the surgeon the same day. Nonye and team were thorough and efficient from start to finish. The medical assistant was personable and drew my blood without any problems. Nonye displayed genuine concern regarding my medical questions. She provided information regarding possible lifestyle changes and didn’t try to push medication as the immediate solution. Highly recommend this team as your primary care provider.

Dr nelson Is so compassionate and understanding. And I told her when she took the time to investigate something for me and called me back a few days later to let me know how to best help me so I don't have to pay too much out-of-pocket. She went above and beyond ensuring that she can help me healthwise. But also help me financially. Not many doctors nowadays care about a patient's financial issues. And Doctor Nelson has a special place in my heart because of this. I will always recommend people to her and always continue to see her because she is truly one of my trusted physicians.
