Dr. Ojeyemi is a highly sought-after doctor dedicated to improving the quality of his patients’ lives and providing them the very best care possible.
Dr. Ojeyemi graduated with honors from Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York, with a bachelor’s degree. He earned his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he trained in orthopedics. At the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Dr. Ojeyemi completed a fellowship in spinal medicine.
He’s also held academic clinical appointments at Howard University Hospital, where he was involved in patient care and with medical student and resident education and research.
Dr. Ojeyemi is passionate about developing the latest techniques in minimally invasive spinal procedures while removing the pain source from degenerated spines. He’s proud to be an active member of renowned medical societies, including the North Atlantic Spine Society, AOSpine, the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Committed to finding alternatives to traditional open spinal surgeries, Dr. Ojeyemi specializes in endoscopic and laser thermodiskoplasty, and motion preservation and percutaneous fusion. He regularly performs orthopedic trauma surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot surgery, and complex open and minimally invasive spinal procedures.
Dr. Ojeyemi lectures worldwide on minimally invasive spinal techniques. When he’s not at Orthopedic & Wellness, Dr. Ojeyemi travels to African countries like Nigeria to do humanitarian medical work. On these missions, he and his compassionate team provide advanced orthopedic care to trauma survivors and children with deformities.

My husband and I always go together for our appointments and we are always made to feel welcome in this office. Our visits are never rushed and our questions are answered thoroughly. I highly recommend this office for your care, and Dr. Ojedapo Ojeyemi for your orthopedic issues. He is an extremely caring physician, and a highly qualified surgeon. I speak from experience, due to he has done shoulder surgery on my husband, neck surgery on one daughter, and foot surgery, on another daughter. She is now doing injections, in a series that the office offers for the other issues that she has. My husband is planning surgery soon with both knees with him as well. My family's quality of life is getting back on track because of this caring man, his team, and the office staff. Together, they provide a service, that is pretty amazing!
