A Portland Native, Dr. Patrick Erickson, DO, has a varied background with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Montana, Masters of Education from Michigan States University, and over 5 years teaching in South Korea before deciding to return to school. He graduated from Western University of Health Science – COMP- Northwest (Lebanon, Oregon) in 2019. He completed a Family Medicine Residency in Blacksburg, VA, where he was Chief Resident in his final year.
With a desire to not only care for his patients but also teach them about their conditions and treatments, Dr. Erickson is very passionate about ensuring his patients are on the same page with him while working towards a comprehensive health plan. He uses his diverse education to enhance the patient’s experience while under his care and encourages his patients to ask questions to better understand how to improve their health and wellness.
In his spare time, Dr. Erickson enjoys spending time with his wife and child. He likes to collect hobbies and is always up to trying new things. He is an avid scuba diver, hiker, and knitter among others. He likes learning new skills and putting them into practice and knows the next project is right around the corner.

I would give PATRICK ERICKSON zero stars, but I don’t have that option. He doesn’t know what’s going on, he is incompetent. Today I had an appointment with him and it was one of the worst appointments in my life. I will NEVER talk to him again. He is horrible. He’s extremely confused about when he prescribes medication, HE HAS NO CLUE….. He needs to pay better attention and be more aware and on top of things. He didn’t look clean cut, he looked like he just crawled out of bed. This is one of the worst and dumbest doctors in this entire world.

Very limited ineraction/communication. Dr. Quite late, dismissed me to P/T. My first evaluation, seemed distracted minimal input.
I was seeking a new primary care provider and had heard good things about this facility. Was even referred by my Gynecologist to this center. Front desk staff was friendly and so was the MA and student doctor but I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes in a tiny, hot room for the doctor and then popped my head out and said I have to leave in a few minutes for work or I'm going to be late. Then, finally I met Dr. Erickson he showed no caring, was rushed and didn't even know my concerns, that I had gone into great details with the student doctor about. He asked me if I needed refills on medicine and peaked in my ear but didn't do anything else or even try to get to know me for a second. He said I was now established and could call if I needed anything. Horrible first impression of this place and I won't be back. I drove pretty far to get there and wasted a whole afternoon. Really disappointed. I was looking for better care and understanding and this definitely wasn't it!
Comprehensive
Over a quick, easy, and friendly visit
Listened to my need. Was very patient. Helped me with my Issue .
Took 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Then another 30 minutes to even just see the doctor. I felt more heard and taken care of by the nurse and student who spoke with me than the doctor.

Dr Erickson was thoughtful and thorough. He efficiently address my needs with care and compassion.
We LOVE Dr. Hart! She genuinely listens, and explains things comprehensively and clearly. We will miss her so much when she's gone! :(

if you want to see a rock star doc, go see Hugh Guppay. Guy never let me down, been going here over 25 years. Hugh himself is super professional, super attitude and bedside manner, your not going to find a better doctor for primary care. He is always spot on, has helped me with about everything i can think of over the years. He got my gout where it is completely controllable,blood pressure is great thanks to his recommend for a cpap doc that actually helped me make something work where others had failed, good guy to talk to in general, and i cant recommend this guy enough.
New patient. On boarding was easy; I liked that it included a mental health assessment. Not only did the staff take the time to ask me questions about my current health concerns, but took notes on my past history and family history. In addition to being there for my current concern, Dr Erickson and the staff took my mental health seriously and set up an appointment for me to see a therapist soon after. 11/10, would love to continue going here. Best doctor and staff I've had in years!❤️
Hugh is always very polite, informative, and great about explaining lab results. Great with listening and then and figuring out the best care needed.
Hugh, is always very thorough, and caring. He has gotten to know the history of my wife’s health, so I don’t have to re explain our story, every visit. Which is very refreshing for me.
