I am grateful for my initial visit with Dr. Leakey to discuss alternatives to surgery of my bone-to-bone, inflamed, arthritic knees. Dr. Leakey was very knowledgeable and asked what I have tried to ease the pain and heard my extenShow moresive medical history, surgeries, drugs and preference for natural healing methods. At my age (72), the choices are limited and so I have agreed to try cortisone injection to experience pain relief and how I respond over time. I appreciate Dr. Leakey's time and efforts.
When I first met Dr. P. Yeakey, I had gone several ER visits. There things that I didn’t understand, he took the time to explain. When referrals was needed, he made sure I got it. So when he said he was leaving Hawaii Island CommuShow morenity Health Center and going with Ka’u Wellness LLC, I told him that I was following him. Too many times we got good doctors, they leave and we have to start all over explaining what’s wrong with me AGAIN.
