The staff made me feel welcome when I arrived, took my new insurance card and made the extra effort to make sure that I was covered for that day. Then they welcomed me into the room where I would be seen by the new doctor. He was Show morevery thorough and had a good demeanor with me. We arrange for a follow up visit a month later to take care of several small cavities as discussed with the new doctor. It was a good experience.
Dr Kim saw me three times in one week to deal with immediate pain I was feeling. I was an annoying patient who had to work around a wedding and he was kind and willing to help me 3 times in a week to make sure I was okay. I can’t Show morethank him enough. He and his staff could not have been kinder to me. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kim graduated from Columbia University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering. He continued to study at Columbia University Dental School and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. He then served in the US Army as a general dentist stationed in South Korea. Upon his return to the US in 2010, Dr. Kim practiced general dentistry at Sunflower Dental in Hackensack, New Jersey; Skyview Dental in Edgewater, New Jersey; and Burnside Dental in the Bronx.
With great excitement to provide his services and care in the Jersey City area, he opened New City Dental Care in September 2013.
