Dr McFadden is very polite and concerned. He listens to your complaints and answer any questions I may have. Even though I’m Workman Comp he treats me as a real patient unlike some other practices that I have come in contact with Show moreover the years. I have been very pleased with DrMcFadden snd his staff and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. I personally thank him for taking the time to completely understand the pain I have been going through. I understand also as I’m in the medical field that some do take advantage of the Workman Comp claims and it hurts ones that are truly in pain and having problems like me. I did not want to even file workers Comp but I was told if I didn’t and my Private insurance found out I would not be covered. So I just want to thank Dr McFadden and Dr Wolgin and the staff for giving such good care and being so compassionate and caring when trying to eliminate and find the source of my problem. Dr. Michas & Ernest were welcoming & courteous to me. They truly care for the patient. I apprec Dr. Michas for making clear to me what his diagnosis for my knee pain was at this time. They quickly got an x-ray & gave me a shot of Show morecortisone to hopefully calm the pain down in my knee. I will b back to c Dr. Michas in two weeks to reevaluate the pain & make a decision if an MRI is in order for my care. I apprec the appointment being made quickly & my care today being top notch. Paul Anton Michas, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a passion for sports medicine, focusing on knee injuries and shoulder problems, as well as musculoskeletal trauma and fractures. He has practiced general orthopaedics at Orthopaedic Associates in Albany, Georgia, since joining the practice in 1999.
Dr. Michas’ interest in medicine began when he was still an undergraduate at Florida State University, where he studied psychology and biology. After graduating in 1988, Dr. Michas attended UHS/The Chicago Medical School and received a master’s degree in physiology. He went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1992 from the same school.
Upon graduation, Dr. Michas began a general surgery internship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans before completing his orthopaedic surgery residency there in 1997. During his time at Tulane Medical Center, Dr. Michas rose to become the hospital’s chief resident of orthopaedic surgery.
After returning to his native Florida to practice for a couple of years, Dr. Michas relocated to Georgia and joined the Orthopaedic Associates team, where he continues to thrive and treat patients for an array of orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries.
Dr. Michas is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Medical Association of Georgia.
During his spare time, Dr. Michas loves weight training, water sports, and spending time at home in Lee County with his wife and three sons.

Help me with my back pain.
We went to another facility in town and were advised my son didn’t have a break. It ended up that he did have a fracture. We contacted Orthopedic Associates and they worked us in that day. The entire staff were very kind and courteous to us. We were in and out within an hour. The doctor talked to my son and explained all details. Wonderful experience. Great doctor and facility! Thanks Kishia and Dr. Michas!

Dr.Michas was very helpful and thorough with my daughter’s hip and back pain. He made sure to explain it to her and gave her options with her future in mind. He helped us after the appt. with forms needed to proceed in sports.
The Team that were there when I visited was very nice and friendly. I had to Physical Therapy the guys over there Wow ! Wow! Kept me smiling and pushed me to want to do better and feel good. Not good with names but I know from the front desk to me riding the bike, strength my balance,to laying on the table I was in Good Hands. Thanks Guys!!

I'm Tameka James-Sayler and I've been seeing Dr. Michas for a long time; 15 plus years perhaps. Not just for one thing but several. So from my very initial appointment I've always felt my concerns, health and needs were important to him as well as his staff. He's patient, caring and has empathy and compassion therefore I would recommend Orthopedic Associates to anyone in need!

Wonderful! I injured my foot 4 months ago. I’ve been to 6 doctors (2 orthopedic drs prior to Dr Michas)…no answers (except that it wasn’t broken or fractured) or diagnosis only pain meds. Dr Michas took another X-ray…gave diagnosis and treatment and treatment plan!
