About Dr. Po Chen, OMD, LAc

Po Chen, OMD, LAc is the co-founder of Integrative Medical Center’s division of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He provides a wide range of services to patients at the Irvine, California, office.

Dr. Chen received his medical training in both Western and Eastern medicine in China, specializing in rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Chen has been practicing and teaching acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Chinese healing exercises for more than thirty years.

He also co-founded the first Qi-Gong Healing Center in the United States in 1985. Dr. Chen’s primary focus is promoting Traditional Chinese Medicine and healing exercise to the community.

With an emphasis on individualized treatment plans and looking at health from a holistic perspective, Dr. Chen takes the time to get to know each patient’s unique health concerns.

By creating custom, personalized protocols, he helps people understand their bodies, heal from chronic disease, and become more active in maintaining their health. He is also known to provides the most effective acupuncture treatment for various pain disorders, anxiety, and insomnia.
