Dr.Dan has been my Nephroligist since my Right Nephrectomy 4 years ago.I had a tumor that is sorta rare for kidneys and he took the extra step in educating me on this particular tumor.He is always kind,takes time to review your laShow morebs with You and explains everything including the Doctor and Patient's plan of care.He also is compassionate and caring about any struggles with Your personal life issues.I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Caring Nephroligist for their kidney problems.His Office staff are also wonderful.If you need a Nephroligist, Dr.Dan is definitely the Man to help You with Your CKD!!

Praveen Dandamudi, or “Dr. Dan,” is a skilled physician practicing at Southern Kidney Specialists, a nephrology practice where Dr. Dan serves patients at their Nashville, Tennessee location. Dr. Dandamudi originally hails from the Midwest. He was born in the great city of Detroit and grew up in Michigan. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training in a program at Creighton University in Omaha. He then completed both his internal medicine and nephrology training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is board certified in internal medicine, nephrology & hypertension. Dr. Dandamudi also earned his MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

In his spare time, Dr. Dandamudi enjoys spending time with his boys, playing tennis, and listening to various podcasts. He is proud to call Nashville his home and to continue cultivating his new southern roots.
