This site has saved my life. It houses some of the most beautiful people you could ever encounter when your ill. My cardiologists have weathered my storm with me never without me or against me but have always been the best and eveShow moren reached out when they felt I needed care beyond what they themselves could offer. When my cardiologist retired I was blessed with a new cardiologist, Dr. Punit Parasher, MD, FACC. He had been a pure blessing and provides me with the upmost care. Because of this I am bringing my young son in for care. Since he is a young man facing issues I trust Dr Parasher and his colleagues with the care of my only living child. I know he will be cared for by the whole staff as though he was their very own son, nephew or grandson. There is not enough expression of trust, admiration, or love that I feel for my provider or every person I have encountered in my care thus far. All I can say is thank you! Yet that is not enough. I really hope to in some way be part of such a beautiful place so I might help someone feel the way I do.
Dr Banna quite littered saved my live. I picked up a MRSA infection somewhere that settled in my heart. It chewed up a valve and when the valve started coming apart, it caused several strokes. I was being treated for the infectionShow more and had heart surgery scheduled for several day later when a massive part of the valve came off in the middle of the night, causing a massive stroke. Dr Banna was the doctor on call. He spent 5 hours with me in the surgery department of Banner Thunderbird hospital. He would not leave my side. After coming out of the hospital 45 days later, I made the choice to keep him as my cardiologist. He rocks. He genuinely cares. I have had to have an ablation, had multiple tests he has steered my through. Best part is I am still here and doing very well.

Dr. Parasher earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He went on to a research fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of California in San Francisco before continuing his medical training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, where he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. During his fellowship, he served as the chief cardiology fellow and was named Outstanding Clinical Fellow.
Dr. Parasher is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is highly active in his field and counts membership among the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Minnesota Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.

Great staff and doctors
I cannot say enough positive things about Dr.Parasher. He has all the qualities an excellent doctor should have and then some. Some things you notice right away about him (besides his great smile) are that he listens to you and misses nothing, follows up on everything you discuss, and is very thorough. Dr. Gomes is excellent. I have finally seen someone that listens to me and seems determined to do something about my issue. She is very thorough, willing to work with my other doctors, very pleasant and time conscious. I didn't sit for hours waiting to be seen.
