Dr. Pushpendra Jain, MD, is a Board Certified by American Academy of General Physicians Doctor of General Medicine and Physician of Family Medicine at Cookeville Medical Clinic RHC. With four office locations in Cookeville, Gainesboro, Crossville, and Sparta, Tennessee, he provides expert care to all his patients at the Crossville, Sparta, Baxter, Gainesboro, and Cookeville offices.
Dr. Jain is also the owner and Chief Medical Officer of all the clinics.
He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Lucknow, India, in 1971. Next, Dr. Jain achieved his Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the Armed Forces Medical College in India, where he was awarded a scholarship for outstanding academic performance.
Dr. Jain moved to the United States to further his education and career in medicine. He worked as a medical officer and practiced emergency medicine at the outpatient department in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Since the late 1980s, Dr. Jain has been a primary health care provider in Cookeville, Tennessee and surrounding areas.
Other professional appointments include PGYI Surgery at Lincoln Medical and Mental Center in the Bronx, New York. He was a Senior Resident in Internal Medicine at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in New Delhi, India.
Dr. Jain is a member of the American and the Southern Tennessee Medical Associations (TNMED) and the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA). He is also a founding member of The Primary Care Association.

Doc. Wilcox is one of the best medical providers I have been to. And as retired military, I have been to many. She is easy to talk to, listens to my issues and together we work up a medical treatment plan. Great work.
