This entire experience was fabulous! I waited only five minutes or so in the outer office. The nurse then brought me to an interior room, took my vitals, and we had a pleasant chat. Within five minutes, the doctor was in the roomShow more with me. I almost fell over when he apologized for the time that I had to wait. (Compared to most doctors’ offices, this was the smallest wait time I’ve ever had!) The doctor took his time with me, going over my test results, asking questions about my present health and my history, and about my weight, and he answered a few questions that I had written down, as well. In no way did I feel rushed. Both the doctor and the nurse had a lovely sense of humor, and I was in and out of the office in 25 minutes. I’ve told everyone who will listen what a great experience it was. I would highly recommend this practice. Also, my procedure… A colonoscopy, which took place three weeks ago, was handled well, And the folks at the surgery center did a wonderful job. Again, I could not be happier with this practice.
My visit with Dr. Borade was very good. He was thorough, concerned and respectful. He listened. My follow up care after my colonoscopy with Dr. Gabriel was awful. No phone calls back for over 8 hrs while in pain on 2 separate Show moredays. Was told by staff that Dr. Gabriel was too busy with other patients. Not acceptable care at all. Had to reach out thru the surgical center to get someone to call me back after multiple call to the office. I would see Dr. Borade again. Totally different experience with him.
Meet Dr. Borade
Raj Borade, MD, MBBS, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician who offers expert care at Gastroenterology & Nutrition of Central Florida in The Villages, Leesburg, and Brownwood Paddock Square in Wildwood, Florida. Dr. Borade has been actively practicing gastroenterology in Florida since 2013, and he specializes in liver and biliary tract diseases.
After completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical School in India, Dr. Borade traveled to Norwich in the United Kingdom, where he completed his internal medicine residency at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust. He then moved to the United States and joined the internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida, where he served as chief resident in his third year.
Dr. Borade then completed both liver and gastroenterology fellowships at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He looks forward to helping patients with a variety of GI issues.

Dr. Raj Borade is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable, and a very kind and caring person.
The doctor remembers who you are and why you came to see him. He reviews how I am doing. We discuss changes I made and then what still has to be done. You can talk to him without using medical terms and he can fill in my blanks . My husband went with me and he remembered not having seen him before. I thought that was nice.
