Ramya Raghavan is a neurologist and epileptologist at Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders (DCND), which staffs convenient locations in Centerville, Beavercreek, Springfield, Eaton, Wilmington, Hillsboro, and Vandalia, Ohio. Dr. Raghavan is mainly based out of Kettering Brain and Spine. She joined DCND in 2023. Dr. Raghavan earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University. She completed her residency in neurology at Kettering Health Dayton and a fellowship in epilepsy at the University of Cincinnati.
One of Dr. Raghavan’s biggest goals with her patients is improving the quality of their lives through all aspects of epilepsy care, such as acute care and refractory epilepsy, including vagal nerve stimulator placement and pre-surgical evaluation.
She likes neurology and epilepsy because they allow her to use her problem-solving skills and be a detective of sorts to come up with the proper diagnosis. She loves meeting new people and the ever-changing world of treating epilepsy.
“What excites me the most about the field of epilepsy is that it continues to evolve with new treatment options in medications, surgery, and disease detection,” said Dr. Raghavan.
Outside of the office, she enjoys activities that keep her outside, such as running or walking her dog. She loves to read and watch movies and TV shows. She is currently attempting to watch every movie that has won Best Picture at the Oscars.

Dr. Johnson and her staff are fantastic. They listen to the patient about all symptoms, history, etc. etc. In addition, they are compassionate about patients that get nervous in medical facilities. No rush, they spend as much time as the client needs. Very pleased.
This was a great visit. I was very uncomfortable going in. From the time I walked in everyone was pleasant and helpful. Once I got in with the therapist I was comfortable. She was pleasant and got right to it explaining things as she went. When I left I felt like a lot was accomplished. Thanks!

Easy office to get to. Appointment right on time. MA very professional. Dr. Johnson had reviewed my chart prior to the appointment and was familiar with my medical history. She diagnosed my problem in a short period of time and prescribed a medication that will work for my issue and also replace my current blood pressure pill. Highly recommend.
