I really appreciate you for awesome service and effort to improve my eyes problem Just as friendly reminder this Monday nurse after taking pictures of my eyes she left and when you saw the pictures and told me the results of the Show morepictures when I tried to stand up I felt down and you and my husband tried to pick me up- you maybe remember it However Please replace it with one is secure during sitting and standing before and after taking pictures or recommend your nurse Hold chair before and -specially-after taking pictures Thanks Your patience Soheila
Dr Torti is an amazing retina specialist. He talks to you before the shot and has a unique personality. I have been going for shots in both eyes. The staff is profession and friendly. I can read and I have improved distance vision with glasses to live an active life. I hope he never retires. I get one shot in my eye Every two months! That is progress!
Robert E. Torti, MD, is a dedicated retinal ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience and a leader in the Dallas and North Texas vitreoretinal community. He’s part of the team at Retina Specialists, treating patients at the practice’s locations in Plano, DeSoto, and Waxahachie, Texas.
Dr. Torti graduated summa cum laude with a degree in electrical engineering from The University of Memphis’s Herff College of Engineering in Tennessee. He shifted gears after graduating and decided to pursue his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He pursued rigorous postgraduate training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, completing an internship, an ophthalmology residency, and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship before starting his vitreoretinal practice in 1992.
Dr. Torti is a Tennessee native, and when he’s not working, he enjoys his family, motorbikes, snowboarding, horse breeding, and computer programming.

Always a great experience with everyone working in Dr. Torti’s practice. He is a very thorough, caring doctor with a very congenial and professional Staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Torti for over 12 years, initially in Duncanville/Dallas location, and now in Plano’s location after moving to Frisco.
