I saw Dr. Levine due to a subconjunctival hemorrhage which got worse while in New York. I was very happy to find someone available on a Saturday and especially someone with first class credentials as well as perfect reviews. I wasShow more at first a bit hesitant because I thought it unusual that a doctor, especially a Board certified specialist, would take time to respond to the reviews. In meeting him it was evident that as much as he deserves the respect of his patients, he respects his patients, taking appropriate time in learning the full medical history of the patient and being attentive to the concerns of the patient. He also encouraged me to keep him apprised of any changes and to contact him with any concerns. Based on my experience with him as well as his medical background (Albert Einstein, Yale, Memorial Sloan Kettering), and the fact that he has been exposed to all the most up to date research and equipment based on his age (in the thirties), I have decided to continue as Dr. Levine’s patient permanently. As an added plus, his office is totally pristine and new in one of the most beautiful Art Deco buildings in all of Manhattan.
My visit was good. The doctor did a thorough exam of my eyes and checked my glasses prescription. It was a bit long of an appointment and it took a while for it to actually start. I also found it a bit strange that there was no reShow moreceptionist. It seems like dr. Levine would like to be able to do everything on his own. But I think it would make the patients feel more comfortable if there was someone at the front. That makes it feel more like a doctors office and be more professional. Over all Dr. Levine was very knowledgeable. He showed me different products that could help me and was fully attentive to all my questions. I also like that he is easily accessible via, email, text and call (since he is his own receptionist!) also the purple lights in the office are interesting. Not sure how I feel about them!

I had the best experience, the doctor was super attentive knowledgeable and explained everything for me and my Mom. I personally hate going to the doctors but this was completely different experience and I highly recommend this doctor to everyone.
I have seen Dr. Levine since 2021, when his practice was new. He is extremely competent and always willing to take time to diagnose eye conditions and possibly treatments. I have never felt rushed during my visits with him. I have always felt he truly loves ophthalmology and his approach with me as a person makes me realize his concern for patient well-being. His staff demonstrates the same patient concern. There is reasonable wait time and the office is comfortable and easy to get to.
