MEET OUR PROVIDER - RYAN ROWAN
Ryan D. Rowan, PA-C, is a skilled Board Certified Physician Associate specializing in primary care. At Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California, he takes pleasure in connecting with patients, learning about their lives, and helping them achieve their health goals. He enjoys working with people from all walks of life, especially those of different cultures.
Ryan was born and raised in Dana Point and Mission Viejo, California. After earning his BA from Brigham Young University, he worked as a medical interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients and loved what he saw. He observed many clinicians and nurses compassionately caring for their patients and found such purpose in their daily efforts and satisfaction in their conversations.
Ryan then completed Drexel University’s Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Health Science in 2007. He scored in the 95% on the National Board Exam. Aside from all primary care skills and duties, Ryan is trained in Osteopathic Manipulation Technique of the spine.
Ryan has provided health care to underserved populations in two different Federally Qualified Health Centers. He spent a year and a half in Central California and five years in Idaho, four of which he served as lead clinician for a rural health clinic. Currently, Ryan is participating in a pilot test program to improve the recertification process for all Physician Assistants in the US by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
He has been described as a true caregiver; his patients often leave appointments feeling lifted. In addition to English, Ryan also speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
Outside of work, Ryan loves participating in sports with his four children, including football, soccer, basketball, and any sport with a board. He also enjoys the musical benefits of four accomplished musicians (his kids) in his home.

My husband and I just moved to the area and wanted to establish care with a PCP. Mandy was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, addressed all of our concerns, provided the referrals asked for. The office was very clean and we were taken back and seen quickly. We look forward to continuing our care here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Amanda Alvarez. I cannot recommend Temecula Medical Group highly enough. From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the entire staff. During my appointment, I never felt rushed or unheard. Ms. Alvarez took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered every question I had with patience and empathy. I have been to many doctors and have finally found one who exceeds my expectations.

OK, so yesterday I went into Dr. Ryan‘s and I was not even able to turn my head. Even though my appointment wasn’t for another half hour the immediately came out, hugged me and pulled me into a room. Dr. Ryan and his staff are so amazing when the receptionist came out and gave me a hug, it comforted me so much even though it did not take away the pain it helped me heal In a way. The staff help me back to the room and also help me to my car. As long as I live, I will never forget the way this office cares the people in this office just have tremendous hearts even for people they barely know. I know I’ve been a patient for 10 years, but they treat me like family. Sometimes I feel closer to the people in this office than anybody else in California Dr. Ryan thank you Meredith. You guys are amazing.
I am on HRT and picked Temecula Medical for that reason. Ryan has been great from the start. I am a cash patient as my insurance (Kaiser) does not support Bio identical hormone replacement by their doctors or pharmacy. My labs through Temecula Medical are very reasonable and the staff is fantastic.
Ryan is the absolute BEST! I have been going to him for years, and he has the best bedside manner, he truly cares about his patients, and always wants to help anyway he can. Everyone at Temecula Medical Group is so nice and I highly recommend them!

Great experience, friendly staff, effective and on time. Ms Alvarez was very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and went through all my options. They also put in recommendations and referrals to the other doctors I needed to see for an existing condition I have. I felt more comfortable coming out of my visit here than I did after being released from the hospital for 5 days.
She is nice and kind and caring for the patients.

Dr. Ryan has the best bedside manner for a medical professional. He is attentive and always so helpful in targeting your concerns with solutions. If one medicine doesn’t work for you, he is intelligent enough to recognize it and try another until he finds the one that works for you. He has patience and an attentive ear with compassion. The front and back staff are just as amazing. They are always ready to be helpful and assist you. I really got lucky to be so blessed to find this practice. ☝️
