I had my first visit with Dr. Rowan. There are not many doctors left like Dr. Rowan. H will make you fell like you are the most important patient he will see that day. He genuinely cares about your health and your well being. He iShow mores an incredible person and a good man. I so glad I switched to Dr. Rowan. Ryan Rowan PA-C took me under his wing well over a year ago.. I am in constant travel between Alaska and SoCal where my son lives full time.. I couldn’t seem to get medical attention that was much needed for my health in Alaska…Show more Ryan without fail , was able to make sure referrals were brought to attention in both states to MD’s,Surgeons, DO’sand physical therapists,, Because of Ryans never-ending vigilance to my cause.. Ryan D. Rowan, PA-C, is a skilled Board Certified Physician Associate specializing in primary care. At Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California, he takes pleasure in connecting with patients, learning about their lives, and helping them achieve their health goals. He enjoys working with people from all walks of life, especially those of different cultures.
Ryan was born and raised in Dana Point and Mission Viejo, California. After earning his BA from Brigham Young University, he worked as a medical interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients and loved what he saw. He observed many clinicians and nurses compassionately caring for their patients and found such purpose in their daily efforts and satisfaction in their conversations.
Ryan then completed Drexel University’s Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Health Science in 2007. He scored in the 95% on the National Board Exam. Aside from all primary care skills and duties, Ryan is trained in Osteopathic Manipulation Technique of the spine.
Ryan has provided health care to underserved populations in two different Federally Qualified Health Centers. He spent a year and a half in Central California and five years in Idaho, four of which he served as lead clinician for a rural health clinic. Currently, Ryan is participating in a pilot test program to improve the recertification process for all Physician Assistants in the US by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
He has been described as a true caregiver; his patients often leave appointments feeling lifted. In addition to English, Ryan also speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
Outside of work, Ryan loves participating in sports with his four children, including football, soccer, basketball, and any sport with a board. He also enjoys the musical benefits of four accomplished musicians (his kids) in his home.

Ryan is the best.
My wife and I love this office! We had been with a very good medical group (Tri-Valley Medical Group) for many years, however, due to a change in our insurance, we had to make a switch. We are so happy with Temecula Valley Medical Group, Dr. Richard Rawson's Office. Ryan Rowan is an excellent P.A. and is very professional and pro-active with my care. Being a new patient with several medical issues, I was concerned about switching, but Ryan has provided such great care that I'm happy &confident!

Dr Ryan is the one of the best doctors that I've had in my life I am 52 years old and I have had severe medical issues since 2005 when undergoing gastric bypass which caused me to almost leave this earth four times which doctor Ryan helped me get back to health and I am doing phenomenal and he is such a blessing

The clinic is nice! It is clean and modern. The medical assistant, Mark was very attentive and helpful. Armanda Alvarez was excellent. She knows to to listen and also identify issues. She relays information without scaring you…it is more like stating the facts and finding how to deal with them. She was referred to me and I am grateful to have her as my primary care.
