Dr. Sabino DAgostino, is a minimally invasive surgeon specializing in robotic spine surgery at Seaside Spine Specialists in Charleston and Ladson, South Carolina. He is board certified by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
Dr. DAgostino, or Dr. D as most of his patients call him, has worked in neurosurgery and spine surgery since 2002. His education consists of extensive training at Pennsylvania State University (PSU), Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), and residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
While in medical school, Dr. DAgostino completed an international fellowship in Milan, Italy. Years later, well into his medical practice, he traveled to Torino, Italy, to help introduce the first robotic spine surgery in the country’s history. He is also proud of the fact that he performed the first robotic spine surgery in the state of South Carolina. Since these momentous occasions, he has completed over 400 robotic spine procedures and serves as a regional trainer for other surgeons who want to learn more about robotic spine surgery and other minimally invasive techniques in the area.
Dr. DAgostino takes great pride in being the owner and president of Seaside Spine Specialists, an independent physician practice.
