Dr. Salman is wonderful I am a new patient and say him in the hospital he is very very caring and concern with my well being. I give him 5+. His staff on the other hand could show some passion I felt as if I was a burden to them fShow morerom Olga on down. Now the girl that did my breathing test was wonderful. Also I needed a 6 minute hear me 6 minutes walking test to see if I am able to come off the oxygen was told done only on Friday’s well my visit was on a Friday and mind you I drive over a hour and a half to see him and no one stood up and said let’s do this was only two people in the waiting room. I know I am not the only patient but come on ladies you can do better than this.
Dr Alim, first saw my husband in the hospital when he had his heart attack in 2018. He sent letters saying my husband needed a follow up, but my husband wasn’t willing to go in then. So when he finally recognized he needed a pulmoShow morenologist, I searched to try to find a good one. When I called them they recognized Dr. Alim had seen him in the past. Dr Alim is always very personable and seems generally concerned about my husband. He always answers our questions, and takes the time to try and reason with my husband about needed changes. He is willing to do what he can to help him. I’m glad that Dr Alim is my husband’s Dr, I’m confident in the care he gives my husband. His staff personnel are friendly and helpful.
About Us
Salman Alim, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist with his own private practice in Humble, Texas. He is committed to helping individuals living in and throughout the Greater Houston area breathe more efficiently so that they can experience a better quality of life.
Dr. Alim completed medical school at The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Alim completed his internal medicine residency at the Drexel University College of Medicine in 2008. He then completed a pulmonary fellowship at Rosalind Franklin University in July 2014 and a pulmonary critical care fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in August 2015.
At his pulmonary critical care private practice, Dr. Alim diagnoses and treats a variety of respiratory issues, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cough, COVID lung, pulmonary hypertension, and shortness of breath. He can also diagnose and treat sleep apnea to help you get a better night's sleep.
To cater to more patients, Dr. Alim speaks English and Urdu/Hindi.
