Great Doctor. I'm so glad I have found him. Very knowledgeable, professional and caring doctor. I never really got a good experience with Doctors in the USA, so I normally go once a year to my country and get all the tests at onceShow more. I had an emergency and needed to find a doctor as soon as possible. A friend of mine told me about another doctor in the same location, since he wasn't available I got an appointment with Dr. Hecht, and I was amazed with his service and attitude. I'm glad I can say I finally can trust a doctor. Second time I went, I got some lab tests and he called me to tell me about the results. First time in my whole life a doctor calls me instead of making me get an appointment to tell me about the results. He really follows up with the patient and shows the caring.

I trust and am very comfortable with her as my primary care physician, and have not been as satisfied with others who have subbed when she has not Show morebeen available. Less satisfied with the office experience - 25-minute wait from scheduled appointment time, which is not satisfactory when I'm using my 1-hour lunch break for a doctor's visit. Also, paperwork disowning practice's responsibility for ensuring lab work and other tests will be done in network is not okay. This means I have to interrupt my appointment to find out where tests will be done, call my insurance to confirm facilities are in network, and then only after that consent to have blood drawn, etc. This is a waste of my time and your staff's. Again, 5 stars for N.P. Matros, 2 stars for the office.
Samantha Matros, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She provides compassionate and effective care to patients at Premier Medical Center in the Toluca Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
For her undergraduate degree, Samantha attended California Polytechnic State University (CSU), San Luis Obispo, where she graduated cum laude and earned her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. Following graduation, she began her nursing career by becoming a certified nursing assistant.
Samantha then attended California State University, Los Angeles, where she graduated with honors and earned her Master of Science in nursing. At CSU, Samantha was an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society of nursing. She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Samantha has completed clinical rotations at various medical offices and clinics in Southern California. She has trained for over one year with Dr. Michael Marsh at Premiere Medical Center / MedPartners. She also has extensive clinical experience working closely with a host of specialists, including ENT and dermatology.
Samantha was born and raised in Visalia, California. Her hobbies include reading novels, traveling, and spending time with family. She loves Southern California and is honored to make a positive contribution.

I LOVE having Samantha Matros as my General Practitioner! Her bed side manner is in impeccable! She's always extremely personable, and always interested in what's going on in my life in general. She's a keeper!

This doctor and he’s not fast to just give you medication. He is looking for causes. He spends time with patients which means that sometimes you have to wait. That was my only complaint I had to wait almost an hour .
Very knowledgeable. Amazing attitude, very sweet. Does not rush you and takes care of all your problems. I totally recommend her. The only drawback is she only works two days a week, but there are other doctors in the office that can help you when she’s out and usually there is an appointment available.
