Dr. Modugu is among the finest pain managers. He is surgically precise, both in thought and standard of care. He is also partnered by Eva, a highly specialized, highly skilled, nurse assistant. If there is one recommendation I wouShow moreld make for new patients , no matter how much pain you are experiencing or how frustrated you may be at any given time, whether during an office visit or via EMERGENCY phone call, you must be able to, or learn, to slow down, calm down, take a few deep breaths and try to listen and respond, rather than asking questions first. He will address each item in a very important order that will allow for better pain management results and "courses" of care. I am a veteran of too many battles and spine surgeries to count (9lbs of hardware) and struggle with pain 24/7, full relief from Chronic intractable pain is not possible for anyone. My own experience after a number of years under his care, I would consider a 40% reduction of pain an excellent outcome, even if just for a month. Pain must be taken, day by day, hour by hour. DR. MODUGU WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PAIN RELIEF.
I've been a patient of Dr.Modugu for a long time. He is a patient, calm and kind person. You never want to be in care of a doctor who’s always so busy they don’t take time to know you. Sathish Modugu, MD, providing care at Advanced Spine Care and Pain Management in Hartsdale, New York, has more than 20 years of experience helping his patients feel like themselves again. He received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, then completed his residency in physical medicine rehabilitation at Mount Sinai. Dr. Modugu is double board-certified in physical medicine rehabilitation and pain management.

The probability of finding another doctor with an office offering the type of top notch care for their patients found at Dr.Modogu would be near impossible. His stellar staff are beautiful both inside and out and enhancing the experience. Again, finding another like he and his staff would be a total waste of time.. I'm resting and applying ice packs now, as recommended be Nurse Eva. My trigger point injections administered by Dr. Modugu went extremely well today. The doctor and nurse Eva worked together for the procedure, and due to their high level of experience and expertise, I got through the procedure painlessly and am already feeling relief in my upper spine and shoulder! Very nice office staff, too . . . many thanks!

I received my regular scheduled epidural shot for my cervical spine injury. Dr Modugu was as usual AMAZING! He has hands of gold! He has been a blessing to me managing my pain. The staff is terrific!
