Best Dr. I could ever ask for! Went to 2 others before him and am glad I kept looking. Dr Hansen is the best in his field, it is easy to see why I had multiple people recommend him. He is extremely gifted, he saw me throughout my Show morefirst pregnancy and delivered my baby safe and sound. I was never worried or stressed, I knew he was completely capable to handle anything that came up. He is also so kind and listens, I never once felt rushed. He answered all my questions and is so personable.

Scott Hansen, MD, FACOG, is a skilled and practiced doctor of medicine and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Hansen sees patients at South Valley Women's Health Care in Bluffdale, Utah.
From his teenage years, Dr. Hansen knew he wanted to be a physician. A native of Wyoming, Dr. Hansen received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo and has practiced in Utah for many years.
Prior to landing in Utah, he received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of California San Diego (UC San Diego) in California. He completed his OB/GYN specialty training at Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency (PISR) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Hansen enjoys obstetrics and finds it an honor to help safely navigate the wonderful experience of birth. He specializes in gynecologic surgery, including microinvasive surgery and bladder incontinence surgery.
He is married and has helped raise four boys. He enjoys swimming, road bike riding, and generally playing with his grandchildren in his free time. His happiest places are with his family in Disneyland or Oceanside, California.

Dr Hansen always leaves me feeling like I am his favorite patient. He is genuine. He listens well, takes notes and then we make a plan.
Dr Hansen is seriously the best! He’s kind and helpful and makes you feel very comfortable and listens to what you need. He also delivered my baby and he still remembers him even 5 years later

Dr. Hansen is the best doctor! Through appointments until up to when he delivered my baby he was always checking on me and making sure I was feeling ok physically and mentally. I have been with Dr. Hansen for over 25 years. I travel from Florida to still see him. He’s delivered 3 of my children. His nurses have only changed 3 times in 25 years. If that doesn’t say something about the environment he creates to work in let alone be. Patient then I don’t know what does. He’s professional yet has a wonderful bedside manner that will put the most anxious person at ease. You don’t look farther than Scott Hansen. Period
