Dr. Madhok listened to what I had to say, made suggestions for my future visits with other providers and expressed an interest in speaking with my other providers and acting as part of my care team, rather than making decisions unShow moreilaterally. As I'm a "complex" case, this communication with my other providers is very important. She helped me to come up with a game plan going forward and put it on paper. She displayed knowledge in her field of expertise, but in a humble way - not in a way that made it feel like she was hoarding her knowledge over me. She had Randy, NP, with her and Randy was also helpful in answering questions when Dr. Madhok left the room. Every provider I've dealt with in the 4 years that I've been going to Regional Allergy, as well as Sherry at the front desk, have always provided exceptional care and service and I highly recommend them.
Dr. Madhok is clearly an expert in her field and I felt we were in good hands. I normally care much more about treatment and accurate diagnoses than a doctor being "nice" or being "warm and friendly", but I am happy to report we gShow moreot all of the above and Dr. Madhok is indeed a kind, warm woman. Very intelligent and competent. I would recommend her and her staff to anyone.
Shailee Madhok, MD, is a world-renowned, board-certified specialist in pediatric asthma, allergy, and immunology who provides care at Regional Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center in Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee; and Abingdon, Virginia. In addition to her experience and recognition, Dr. Madhok is well-known for providing patients with truly individualized care with sincere compassion.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine at Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai, India, Dr. Madhok relocated to Brooklyn, New York City, to complete her pediatric residency training at Brooklyn Hospital Center. She then went on to complete her fellowship in allergy, asthma, and immunology at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center (formally known as Schneider Children’s Hospital) and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, both located in Queens, New York City.
Dr. Madhok is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for her contributions to medicine, including the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Auxiliary Memorial Award for her research in allergies and immunology, as well as recognition by the International Association of Pediatricians as a leading physician of the world and top pediatrician in Kingsport, Tennessee. She’s also been awarded America’s Top Physician in Allergy & Immunology by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.
Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Madhok is an active member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology and a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Everything was great except the waiting time which was a little excessive in my opinion.
Dr. Madhok is a wonderful provider! She helped my pregnancy induced asthma and breathing issues improve almost overnight. She is extremely knowledgable, personable, and treats you base on your needs not just a number to get in and out of the office. I highly recommend her for care!
Staff is caring from the moment you walk in to when you leave. Everyone took the time to explain the process and procedures. Dr Madhok spent so much time going over my concerns, explaining the treatment program, and truly cared that I left understanding everything.

The Dr asked questions and listened attentively as I answered her. She was very kind and didn't seem to be in a rush. I left from my first visit uplifted and hopeful!! He nurse was also very kind and attentive.

Great staff and in and out very quickly
Very impressed with how thorough Dr. Madhok was. I felt like she listened and truly heard my concerns for my son. Thankful that she is involved in Jaxtin's care.
Everything was great except the wait in waiting room I had 4 people called before us and waited 40 mins after our appt time, I think the girls up front forgot to tell the back we were there. After that everything was smooth.

She is amazing Dr. She always listens to you and what your concerns are and what’s been going on. Couldn’t ask for a better person for my child.
