Shelby Sutton, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist who provides expert, compassionate care to patients in Dallas, Texas. With a strong foundation in internal medicine and specialized training in pulmonary and critical care, Dr. Sutton is dedicated to helping individuals manage complex respiratory conditions and improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Sutton earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she developed a deep interest in the biological sciences and human health. She went on to complete her medical education and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), where she was honored with the Outstanding Resident Medicine Clerkship award in recognition of her clinical excellence and leadership. She then pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, a leading institution known for clinical innovation and research.
